As it now has become official that the UK is in recession, would like to share a few “thoughts” into the potential ahead. It appears the UK will loose its influence and “clout” on the international scene which may even affect the financial influence. Whether England or London will remain the financial capital of the world remains to be seen…The UK ‘s image as the financial hub of the world may diminish or be battered. The economic situation of the country may be unstable for at least the next 2 years…stagnation, fluctuations; insecurities…There are talks from some quarters of the UK going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for help (loan). Is this to be? Well, this topic may come back at regular intervals and may be considered seriously, but eventually the government will decide to “plough on” and solve this problem without outside help. Real progress I feel will be come in possibly seven years from now, when things will look up again. But please keep in mind other comments made previously… | |
